We welcome you to the opening of our new exhibition, Masters of the Matrix: Latin American Printmakers.
And we invite you to meet Dr. Julio del Llano of the Ars Nabis Foundation. Julio brings the graphic art of 20 individual artists representing 100 years of printmaking in his country of Costa Rica. He tells us the story of Francisco Amighetti and the history of xylography.
The Ars Nabis Foundation (Fundación para las Artes Visuales) is a visual arts organization that relocated its headquarters from Cuba to San José, Costa Rica. Directed by Dr. Julio del Llano, the foundation is dedicated to studying, promoting, and exhibiting Costa Rican and Cuban art worldwide.
